How to use:
Baking Tips: Use a thermometer to determine the temperature of the liquid. For traditional baking methods: Dissolve 1 packet in 1/4 cup of warm liquid, 110°C - 115°F.
Add 1/2 teaspoon sugar.
Wait until the foam doubles in size. Or mix the yeast with the dry ingredients.
Add very warm liquids, 120 - 130°F. Avoid liquid temperatures above 140°F as this will harm the yeast.
For bread machines: Use liquids at 80°F.
Approximately 2 1/4 teaspoons. Equals 1/4 ounce. A bag of Red Star® yeast. Three 1/4 oz. A bag equals 2 ounces of activity. Yeast cake.
